Manic Monday Mask Review: Glam Glow Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask

Back with another Manic Monday Mask Review! It’s been a minute since I’ve reviewed a mask! This mask right here is one of my absolute favorite masks! I know I say that about a lot of things but this mask gives me instant gratification immediately!

So just a little history on the mask! It’s made in California my home state! Hollywood to be exact. It was created to be your quick fix before you hit the red carpet. It’s created for both men and women, all ages, and all skin types! It’s a quick 10 minute mud mask that you can apply before hopping in the shower.

What is this amazing mask supposed to do for your skin?

It is designed to give you the glow back in your skin, exfoliate, tighten, smooth and soften the skin. It also removes impurities without removing the natural oils in your skin!

How do you use it?

Apply a thin layer to a clean face

Remove mask with warm water in circular motions

Use twice a week or as often as you’d like.

Here is my skin with the product on and my face after. My skin is tight, glowing, and my skin tone is even.

What’s in this product?

What is making my skin amazing?

* French Sea Clay: absorbs toxic substances and impurities

* Volcanic Pumice Rock: exfoliates dead skin cells , smoothes out fine lines and softens face texture.

*Green Tea Leaf Pieces: Super antioxidant

Interested in purchasing?

A 0.5 oz is $19.00 and a 1.7 oz is $69.00

As I always mention you can go to a Sephora location and get a sample before committing to the purchase! But honestly it is so worth the money!

Have any of you tried this mask yet?

Until the next Manic Monday.

I am glam.

I am gluttony.

Tight Wallet Tuesday: Sally Hansen Fuzzy coat

I was absolutely in love with Nails Inc London Feathers nail polish collection. But, I couldn’t gather myself to pay $9.50 per color although they were uber cute! For one I have tons of nail polish and two I would need all 4 shades! I couldn’t decide! So In other words I would be out of about $40 after taxes!

But to my surprise Sally Hansen launched her identical nail polish top coats! Called Fuzzy Coat. She launched a total of 6 or 7 colors. I bought them on sale at Target for $4.50 each. Which means I got 3 for a little more than $13.00 with tax! Here is the 3 colors I bought!

So if you’re like me and have been loving the Nails Inc Feather collection look check out your local target or CVS and get your fuzzy coat by Sally Hansen. No more than $6 retail price! If you’re lucky you’ll catch a break like I did.

Tight Wallet Tuesday: L’oreal Colour Riche Le Balm SPF 15

One of my all time favorite lip balms is Fresh sugar lip treatment! I love it because it spreads like butter on the lips, it has a hint of color and best of all there is an SPF 15. Just like it is extremely important to have SPF to protect your face and body it is extremely important to have an SPF in your lip balm. Our lips are highly capable of getting sunburned as well as wind burned and to prevent this we must use an SPF on the lips!

Although the FRESH sugar lip treatments are amazing and come in approximately 8 different shades from nice nudes to bright corals they are a tiny bit pricey for 0.15 oz lip balm. They will run you approx $22.50 each one! That’s a little more than I’d like to pay for a lip balm, but I’ve done it and I do not regret it. But, when you’ve just paid your car payment and rent and other things and your pockets might not be able to splurge on that $23 lip balm I might have a pretty similar product for you!

ImageWhile at my favorite drugstore CVS I decided to purchase these L’oreal Colour Riche Balm SPF 15! I decided to try them because it was buy one get one 50% off and it had an SPF 15. My daughters lips tend to get pretty chapped and I figured these would be great for her! These Loreal lip balms are only $8. Just like the fresh sugar lip treatments they have approximately 6-8 colors and they are moisturizing with an SPF.

They definitely aren’t as soft and creamy as the fresh sugar lip treatments but they definitely do the job!

So if you are on a hunt for a lip balm with an SPF which you should be and $23 is way too pricey check these out at your local drugstore! Summers around the corner, protect yourself.

Manic Monday: Kate Somerville exfoliate review

It really is a manic Monday or better yet it was a manic weekend! Such an amazing weekend full of events! Birthday parties and the best blessing of all one of my BFFs delivered her first baby boy! Healthy and super adorbs! I’ve been at the hospital the past two days and decided a good exfoliation was necessary!

Exfolikate by Kate Somerville is one of my all time favorite exfoliators. The scent and the results are EVERYTHING. This product is so gentle  I can use it twice a week ! Keeps my  skin as smooth as a babies bottom and glowing like a pregnant mother! Those analogies work today because I have baby on the brain. 🙂 But in all honesty this keeps my skin clean, smooth, bright and glowing!

Another pretty cool thing is Kate Somerville has 3 different formulas of this product based on your skin type. There is exfolikate intensive exfoliating treatment, exfolikate gentle exfoliating treatment and exfolikate acne clearing treatment, and lastly the exfolikate body intensive exfoliating treatment. The prices range from $22 to $175 depending on size from 0.5 oz to a 5 oz size. It is definitely a little pricey but is equivalent to getting a facial by Kate Somerville they say!

This product can be used up to twice a week. You apply to the face and apply with circular motions. Leave on for 20-30 seconds. They say do not scrub and just let the enzymes do their job.

I wish I had a before and after photo for you! Maybe I will update this post with a photo. Have any of you tried this exfoliator?

This was the perfect relaxation for my busy weekend. Until the next manic Monday.

I am glam.
I am gluttony.

We Love Lashes Wednesday: Shiseido Perfect Mascara Full Definition

ImageThese weeks fly by so quickly! Here it is wednesday again! Two days closer to the weekend and back with another Lash review!

Today I will be reviewing Shiseido’s Perfect Mascara Full definition. I received this as a sample in an online Sephora order, I am a sucker for samples and think it is a great way to try a product before investing your money! Because like most I hate returning.

Anyways about the mascara.

This shiseido mascara is designed to add volume, length and also separate the lashes. It is also mentioned to be non clumping, and contain the ingredient camellia oil complex to keep the lashes healthy and conditioned. It can be purchased in two colors: black and dark brown. It is $24.00 for a 0.29 oz size.

Up above is my before and after of the Shiseido mascara. Although you can see a difference in volume, it is not one of my favorite mascaras. I have personally seen more volume and length in other mascaras. I also noticed it beginning to clump more than expected during the second application of product.

I personally would not purchase this product at $24. It might not work for me, but it just might work for someone else. It does definitely give some results but not the results I am looking for.  And this is the perfect example of why I love samples! I was able to give it a go without having buyers remorse!

Until the next we love lashes wednesday.

I am glam.

I am gluttony.
